Up for sale is a Springfield 1884 Trapdoor with the rod bayonet in .45-70. These are a unique version where the cleaning rod also served as the bayonet. This rifle has the buffington rear sight. The bore is shiny with good grooves. I have fired this rifle and it works just fine. A real piece of American history! Located near Puyallup WA. Price is $750.
