Shelton woman shot while answering the door - Local News - Seattle, WA | NBC News A Shelton, Wash., woman who answered her door early Friday morning was shot by two men. Mason County Sheriff's deputies are looking for the shooters. It happened around 3:30 a.m. when the 30-year-old answered the door at her home on East Tyler Lane, according to Chief Deputy Dean Byrd. When the woman opened the door, the suspects opened fire. It wasn't immediately known how many times the woman was shot. She was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle in critical condition. It's also not known if she knew the suspects. Sheriffs deputies set up a perimeter and were using a K-9 in the search for the two men.
