This has probably been asked many times. If I bought a braced pistol during this amnesty period is it still eligible for the free form 1, or would it have to have been purchased prior to the ruling?

Prior to the ruling, is my understanding.

Edit, adding: Because once the ruling was "dropped" braces became stocks. You would have purchased a SBR.

Also why no one would transfer a braced pistol after the ruling dropped. Braces became stocks.

Palmetto state armory was still selling and shipping pistols w/ brace after the almighty atf released their official rule. So im assuming yes people purchased pistols and braces in March April and may.

Theyre still listing pistol kits that include braces...
