Ruger 10/22 Deluxe wood stock thickness?

I have the Talo 10/22 with the stock that looks like an M1 carbine, but I don't like how thick the M1 style stock is. I'm thinking about replacing it with the deluxe wood sporter stock. Does anyone have a 10/22 with the deluxe wood sporter stock? How thick is the deluxe sporter stock? If it's just a tiny bit thicker than the standard wood stock, I might get it. Thanks for any info on this!

At which point are you referring to, the stock, action or forearm area?
I've got a 10/22 Deluxe out in the shop that I could measure later on.

Thanks Caveman Jim. I notice it where my hands are gripping the rifle both around the grip and the forend.
