This morning I met the gentleman from whom I purchased an unfired 99 in 358 Win a couple weeks ago; the plan was to pick up a shooter grade Winchester 64 (1935). However, I ended up bringing home the 64 (shooter) and a rare and exceptionally nice pre war 99 RS (Receiver Sight) in 300 Sav. The 99 looks almost new - CCH on the lever is beautiful (1941). Sometimes it pays to bundle :)

Nice find on the 64!

Currently Looking for one myself in .30-30 - and hoping to find a 'Deluxe' version!

Please post some range reports when you get out shooting them both!

I saw three 64s at the last Centralia show, two were deluxes, but all were in .32 WS. The one I picked up today was the only standard 64 that was at the show.
