Been that way for a long while. Years.

IIRC the owners used to be able to swap such out after purchase however. No idea now.

I think that's already a thing. I've owned (and currently own) handguns that were offered w MA compliant 10# triggers. The methods to bypass it are hot topics on various gun forums.
