Does anyone have a link to a ballistics chart for the 547 yard (500m) zero for the M1903 Springfield rifle? I believe this zero was achieved using M1 Ball ammo. What is the POI of M1 at 100/200/300 etc?

In WWII there were many M1903s issued to troops (and esp. in the Pacific) I assume w/ M2 Ball. Was the performance significantly different going from the 173gr M1 bullet to the 150gr M2 Ball?

Forgive my ignorance and many thanks in advance.

The info you seek is in Hatchers notebook. Page 30 has tables of M1 and M2. There is also more technical info you can use to plug and chug in a ballistic calculator in there if you dig into the 600 pages. There is also lots of info on earlier 1906 and match ammo.

You will see drop of M1 vs M2 was not significantly different out to 600 yards. Past that, they start to separate trajectory paths.
