N67 was the code number for the Singer Manufacturing Co. LTD, at Clydebank. Dozens and dozens of small companies made parts for the LE and have a code number. Singer was one of the more prominent.

You may see "BNP" British Nitro Proof. A proof mark that was done when the rifle was tested and approved for sale to the British surplus market.
