Threw a couple ball starters together today in the shop.

Not exactly what I wanted but free is a good price!

I need to radius the handles of these eventually but they will get me through a day of shooting this weekend!

I liked to use the flattened sections of Elk antler. Where it starts to turn and the cross section becomes Oval. I would trowel 5min epoxy into the Spongy center and allow it to setup then sand smooth and give it a light slow speed buff. And then a good quality Dowel and a M1 carbine case with the primer drilled out with a countersink for larger calibers a 9mm case and even used a round carbine burr to put a nice round on the cup.
