Oddly enough it is harder to find a good AK gunsmith than you would think. Lots of "oh yeah, I can work on that" types, but really knowing and understanding the AK is a whole other thing. I've ended up shipping them out of state for work in the past.

I wish to avoid the hassle of having to ship it out but I've already taken it to a few "gunsmiths" but just ended up wasting money. Why is life so hard
