    Default Fake Suppressor Training?

Question about the folks in WA with supressors.

I plan on heading to the gun shop this week to start the process to get a suppressor. I am starting out with a .22lr suppressor for my 10/22s and P22s.

My question is would it be a good idea to get one of those "fake" suppressors to train with? To get used to the weight and balance. Since I cant legally shoot with a suppressor in WA.

seeing as the fake suppressors are usually empty aluminium tubes, and much of the weight of a suppressor is the baffles, hanging an empty coke can off the front would give you about as accurate an idea of the weight...of course, it wouldn't look as tacticool.....

get the actual weight of a real suppressor in tube steel and put a cap threaded to your rifle on it. That would assist you with the weight issue I'd think.
