Thread: Hunting rifle in 308

Looking for a good hunting rifle in 308. Prefer something without a heavy target barrel for weight reasons. Under $600 for just rifle. Will consider more if it comes with a scope.

I like my Howa 1500 in .308. Came with a decent scope. Very accurate.

Remington makes their model 700 ADL which is a good gun. Savage makes a decent gun as well.

Winchester Model 88 Lever action. with or without scope.
