Default Too good to be true?

I am a newb when it comes to AR-15 platform "stuff" but this adams arms complete piston upper seems too good to be true. Is the quality downgraded on certain pistons? Or is it all the additional crap they bolt on to make some twice or thrice expensive?

I would buy it. Rainier Arms sells and builds top quality rifles and parts. They stand behind any product they sell also. The low price is due to Adams not adding the bells and whistles to it, it's a basic upper with a piston system. It seems reasonable and not too good to be true.

It doesn't come with a bolt carrier group

    Per their site:
    Description:

Complete piston driven upper receivers from Adams Arms. Piston systems are pinned on for ultimate reliability.
Where do you get that it's minus BCG?

Looks like a pretty damn good deal on an upper.

It's usually listed with all the parts (features) but I see the charging handle pictured now. That would make it a killer deal
I bet they sell out fast

Ranier has a mid-length piston complete upper that is $610 (which is currently sold out) that shows a picture with a bcg and ch. I would hope that both the carbine and mid-length come with the same accessories and the only difference is handguard length. Seems like a super good deal if a piston driven upper is the ultimate goal (and you don't have to install it yourself).

The BCG is proprietary with piston guns. I would assume it does come with a BCG. Looks like a cheap way to get a piston gun if that's what you want.
