Slide fire on AR-15 pistol?? Legal?
Just out of curiosity, is it legal to add a slide fire stock to say a 10.5" ar pistol??
Saw a youtube video of this.

No because then it would no longer be a pistol. Pistols do not have stocks.
If you wanted to fill out ATF paperwork and pay the tax for a SBR (which is legal in OR) it would be legal to add a stock. Here is more info if you are not aware what an SBR is, GunBroker.com Message Forums - Basic NFA FAQ (update 4-6-11)

That slide fire is a rediculous waste of ammo. I'm not even going to get started on the "flash enhancer".

Depends on who... er, what you're wasting.

Fun to have I guess, but not for serious work.
And answer is NO, Nwcid explained very well.
