Thread: Scored a left-hand 30-06 today

Did some trading and scored this nice old Savage left-hand 30-06 today with a 3-9 bushnell. I`ve always wanted a lefty 06. The rifle is in excellent condition and has a nice trigger. Time to roll up some loads and go play.

My Dad built a Left hand 110 using a straight grain Fajen stock. He full lenght glass bedded it and took for ever putting the Oil finish on it. With a nice Leipold 3x9 on it for twenty years it shot like a laser.

I hated when he asked me to sell it for him. I really wish I had had the money to buy it from him. Since I shoot both right and left handed (right handed for many things but left eye dominate)

I bought one just like this for my nephew. It will be his high school graduation present this June. It's a good shootin gun and has a very nice (adjustable) trigger.
