Thread: Marlin XL7

I just picked up a Marlin XL7 for $250, it came with a bipod, cheap factory scope and a little bit of ammo. I am just wondering if I did ok. I was kind of excited to be getting what I thought was a decent 30-06 with a few extras for $250. It was originally bought new in 2010 with a black synthetic stock and the cheap factory scope. I am just wondering if I jumped the gun on that or not. No pun intended. Thanks guys

I can only speak to what I have read, but if it is true you did very well.

I think you did well, too. Marlin makes a fine firearm. I bought my dad the short lived MR7 from a decade (or so) ago. It's a great rifle.
