Thread: mossberg feeding issues?

weird. i have had a few of these mossbergs, and never seen this.

symptoms:

1. all rounds will feed but a middle or last round in the tube fails to strip out of the tube, and thus chamber. multiple 're-racks' of the slide wont cause the round to feed. the gate mechanism that holds the round in the tube appears to cycle correctly. last round load failure happens more often than mid-magazine failure.

2. double feeds during load cycle. rack the slide back, round falls into loading tray, rack slide forward to chamber the round, and POP, another round pops out of the tube and falls on the ground.

needless to say.. wouldnt want to bet my life on this piece..

I would look at getting a new magazine spring, elevator, and ejector.
