Default Need help to identify a custom rifle stock.

We have a real nice custom stock made of myrtlwood, with rosewood caps and excellent checkering. It has a "REMINGTON" plastic buttplate, and it looks like a stock for a 700 series rifle, but it has no cutout where the bolt goes down into the stock when the bolt is closed. Any suggestions or leads would be much appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Thats a nice looking stock. I would take a remington 700 and see if it fits take the bolt out. alot of near finnished stocks dont have the bolt handle inleted when shiped. could be Bishop or Fajen lots of them made in the 70's and 80's
