    Thanks for all the feedback guys. I believe that when the time comes to make my purchase I'll be going with the .308 - got a little more faith in the bigger bullet pushing through the branches and moss and the like than the lighter 7mm.

    Won't be making a purchase for a good while, however, my job got sent to Malaysia at the beginning of the year, so that put a bit of strain on the ole budget, you know?

    Sorry about the job moving away. I like those BLR's: I'd go for the .300 WSM if i was buying. Brother in law did a one shot kill on a 1100lb Moose last season with one of my 300 WSM/165gr Hornady interbond loads. Good bullet for big game.
