    Default Show Your 10-22 Builds

As I just finished my first custom 10-22 build, I've been inspired by the 1911 thread that everybody has contributed to. Why not start a "Show Your 10-22 Build". Here is a couple of pics of my homage to the movie easy rider, my Captain America build. Lets keep this going, I've seen several pictures of some really nice 10-22 builds.
    Before:

    After:

Here's a pic of a group I shot with the whistling pig barrel. 5 shots 3/16" group at 25 yards with federal gold match. Those squares are 1/2" square.

It's a aluminum sleeved whistling pig barrel from aurora. Worth every penny.

    Default 10/22

Here are a couple of mine. One is stainless as you can see, Fajen stock, been so long I cannot remember the barrel brand(fluted stainless with break) Trigger work, recoil buffer, and a few other mods.
Next is a Blued receiver, blued 20" Green Mountain barrel, Timney 3lb trigger, Boyds tacticool stock.
Both have cheap optics, new ones in the safe but have not had time to mount and sight in.
Running out of daylight so took the pics inside, Not as good as Magnum's!

Sweet guns. The top one looks like a volquartsen barrel. Very nicely done.

Here is one of my favorites ..... a 10/22 Thompson Kit Conversion. My Gunsmith did the barrel work and made an adapter to fit an original WW II Cutt's Compensator to it. Nothing like a little bit of history ....

Hope it's OK to post one I have listed for sale .... Here is a 'very' good looking setup. Revolution Stock, Green MT. 20" Staiinless Bull Barrel, Scope Mount, and wrap around Mag Release. A very sexy little 10/22. Stock colors are silver and blue.

Look at "rocky mount" brands very similar but 1/3 the cost.

Looking good. Keep it up all!

I still have the urge to build a M1 carbine 10/22. Maybe I'll find a cheap donor rifle some day.
