is this the sks m with detachable ak mags? your mags in the photo looks to be missing the duckbills and barrel appears to be a 16'' incher

That definitely looks like an SKS-M. The stock is the same, and those magazines are Bulgarian slab-side AK-47 mags.

It appears to be a Norinco SKS sporter. Norinco SKS's accept AK mags.

Yes it is a norinco made in china,the best. It takes ak mags, and I believe it is the paratrooper model short barrel. serial #'s all match, bolt, receiver,slide. No rust, chrome barrel, wood looks perfect. Will post more pics later tonight.Thanks
