    Default Do NOT use Gunpal/Gpal!!!

I just had a transaction go pear-shaped with them, and after trying like **** to contact them, it's to where you just get disconnected.

I've heard that there bank servers are down, but after reading which bank they use, I can never support them!
Turns out it's the National bank of Venezuela!!!

Hopefully there was a coup and it's Hugo Chavez's blood that shorted out the server, but I think we would have heard about a liberated Venezuela...

Regardless, I'm NEVER doing business with Gpal again!

So what do you suggest everyone uses now?

Not Paypal, that is ran by Liberals...

Not GunPal, the money is transfered through a band in a Socialist country ran by Hugo Chávez...

If you did not read the sarcastic undertone of that, it was there!

On a side note: I have been a member of Ebay and Paypal for years and have never changed due to others personal beliefs.

With all those excuses from the GPalVP it is really hard to believe that anybody would continue to use that service. I have a feeling they are spending money that isn't theirs. Then they have to wait for more to come in before they can pass it on to the sellers.

Wow...I used them once, and it went over fast and easy. Don't think I'll use them again untill the troubles die down.

It takes a really big man to not only forgive but to also support his enemies,, Did you get the sarcastic undertone there.

Were did I ever say, on this thread or any others, that Paypal is my "enemy"? I also stated, not in words, but the lack there of words, do not use Gunpal.

If you are at arms with Paypal, that is you... But; your commit has no purpose or merit as a "reply" to mine!

I have found that with 3PP's (third party processors) once the trouble starts there is never any recovery and everyone that listens to the apologies and the excuses just ends up taking it in the shorts.

I see your side of the "Paypal" issue, along with all others views on this topic as well. I am well informed of the company and their relationship with certain political figures and movements. Regardless, I still choice to use the Ebay and Paypal system myself and have done for years for non firearm related purchases...

On the other side and to be the devils advocate on the issue: How is this different than a recent thread on this very forum about "cursing" on the site and how it is blocked. The reasoning is sound and just; it is the owners rights to run his/her (I know it is HIS) own privately owned website in their own way, which can and mostly reflects their personal beliefs...

Being that said; Ebay and Paypal is a privately owned website/business, where in which is ran closely to the owner/operators beliefs. Just as many people choice to stay on this site regardless of their free search rights being infringed (sarcastic), many gun owners choice to continue to use Ebay and Paypal regardless of the company views on firearms, weapons and the liability of selling or allowing them to be sold through their venue...

For GunPal: I have never used them and never will.

(Trustworthy) 3PP's are fine for low volume but there is a break point where the dollar amount per month makes it more than cost effective to get a real CC account.
