    Thanks guys

I assure you everyone, nothing is ever gone. There is a vast paper trail with which the admin (me) can view the entire history of the site

    Hello,
Relatively new, but I do enjoy the forum in general. I encourage each member to censor their own posts, what you write no matter how harmlessly in your replies and thread to other member who are friends, gives an indication or feeling to the none firearm folk of what all of us gun owners are like IMHO.
You can not easily indicate intent, or background, or joking, in writing. This I feel is doing a disservice to the 2nd amendment. Also kids who may not know how to maintain a civil attitude, as well as adults do the same. IMHO sexual references, questionable avatars and low class language should be moderated, warned and then banned. We are in a time when our rights are being impinged upon and why fuel the opposition with poor examples of Good law abiding American Citizens just to show off, vent or be macho. As my father said "put your brain in gear before you put your mouth (fingers) in motion". What passes as normal wording today would have gotten me slapped as a young man, 35 years ago.
    Please remember your representing!
Having been permanently banned from two forums because of problems with moderators and super users I do believe moderator behavior should be specifically defined in the forum rules and is the membership behavior. They do have a hard job trying to balance entertainment and poor member behavior. But I will not be insulted by a moderator as I have been in public forum without the recourse to rebut the accusations. I would prefer it to be public also, so that depending upon the issue the public can see the fair enforcement and level headedness of "gun people". The private club, moderator supported or at least not chastised gestapo attitudes of self righteous, self made always correct, demigods whose only claim to fame is being a moderator on a forum, nobodies, is unacceptable. Not mentioning anyone on this forum, as yet as I've had no run ins, so far.
So as was a good point on a previous forum act as gentlemen and ladies, as if you were speaking to a parson. You really can convey any idea without resorting to foul language, name calling, flaming. I have brought several items to the attention of the moderators, one for instance is the use of the word "bubblegum" as in gun bubblegum. Come on, anyone with half a prefrontal lobe realizes what that refers to! Is it really necessary, does it shed positive light on our beleagured ideals of the 2nd Amendment? This is of course IMHO. Please consider it not as a rebuke by a prude gun owner but as thought out advice from a brother in the same boat.

    "Super Users"

    Good points though.

I'd guess he's a Unix Linux guy if he uses Super User as a term.

I apologize for the obviously humorous us of the term SuperUser, but glad I could provide you some with humour. I hope my ideas otherwise are at least thoughtfully considered. I'm sure life in the Great Outdoors breed a different attitude and mindset than growing up in Miami. That personally puzzles me, that my area seems to have more rights to ownership, carry and sales than people of your absolutely IMHO gorgeous area of wildnerness in the continguous United States. Good luck in your representatives to represent your 2nd amendment rights. I mean, publishing a list of registered CCWs to me IMHO is painting a small target on their back. Anyway take care.
