Default Where to buy surplus ammo?

I want to buy some ammo this weekend. Where do you buy surplus ammo? Looking for 7.62x39 and maybe .45 acp too. Can't get out til Sunday. Is there any place with decent inventory and prices in Portland or Seattle? I have only purchased online before but have only bought handgun ammo in the store. Thanks for your help.

The last place I saw bulk 7.62x 39 was at the puyallup gun show and they were pretty pricey..

Aloha Surplus on TV Hwy in Aloha used to sell surplus ammo, not sure if they've still got a supplier or not. They had most common military calibers - I'd purchased 7.62 NATO (I think they also had the x39 stuff) .45ACP and 9mm, along with 5.56, .30-06 etc...

I have never personally owned any ammo I would consider "surplus."

Knowing nubus has SlideFires, I can surmise why.

A lot of times, especially when a sale is on, it is cheaper to buy from one these places. or buy a little at time from wlamart, that way there is credit card or debit card record.

Have you tried SGAmmo.com | Family Owned and Operated, Stillwater Oklahoma I think they have good prices.

Some of the sites I go to...

gun-deals.com (calculates all ammo deals by caliber, calculates shipping and tells you how much each bullet costs with added shipping)

ammoman.com (bulk ammo with free shipping)

ammotogo.com (variety of different calibers and bullet types)

    surplusammo.com (free shipping, local business)

That's who I bought from at the gun show. Priced the same as ammoman, and I didn't have to wait for it to ship. Good people!
