    Generally, I don't buy into such Jevonsian explanations for economic or political realities, but this article on a possible correlation between El Niño and global civil wars is interesting.

    The revelance of 'weather' to the sucess of military campaigns has been noted for 1000's of years. No suprise there.
    Relation of food production to hunger and war?? OLD SCHOOL! Basic Math! This was taught in europe 300 years ago!

    A complete fabrication!
