As stated earlier these handguns were picked based on the fact that they are the ones I am most skilled with out of the ones I own.

1911 for me, might think about the G-19 if the poodles were attacking...The worst one would be the one you didn't have.

Mine will only shoot 5 now , but the first shot always has a 1/2" group. have to get them lined up for economy...

Glock27 or MP40c. I would go with a compact model so it is easier to conceal and carry a descent amount of ammo with substantial firepower. You dont want to stand out by carring anything too bulky or heavy. 1911's are great but are not ideal for a shtf scenario. Travel lighter with more ammo.... right tool for the right job kinda thing.
