    The past few weeks:
1k more 308, finished the wifes lightweight AR, more items for 72 hr supply, h2O filtration system, and spent 2 hours doing cardio today. Time for a few pints!

After beginning a exercise routine, I finally was able to run a mile without walking to rest. Goal is 5 miles in 45 minutes. I currently only get 3 miles in 45 minutes.... but each day that time comes down. Also bought a Junglas over this weekend. That bad-boy is in a league all by itself. You really have to hold one to understand. Pictures don't do it justice...

Bought two 5 gallon food grade buckets and two gamma lids. One bucket for food and the other for living necessities. These buckets are a bare minimum to grab and go. It's going to be our turn for a big earthquake.

We ate a ton of weird stuff growing up.
It's good to know what to expect.

Today, after a long, hard wait, I picked up my Ruger 10/22 from Bi-mart.... Yeah,.. next time I will definitely do a person to person deal... The waiting wasn't fun! I also picked up a brick of Remington golden bullets. I designed my rain water collection system, and found a nearby source for cheap 55 gallon food-grade plastic barrels for that, as well as water storage.

The BEST thing? it can run on gasoline, kerosene or alcohol!!!

and even though it has an ignition/battery start....it also has a HAND CRANK starter with an internal generator!!

I love those old Farmalls. Had one on the farm; don't think it ever broke down.

I learned about water plumbing, started scoping out my land for goats (dairy) harvest our average of 5 eggs per day from our chickens, recorded down a new recipe for dried meat, prepared a sheath with belt attachment for my Butler Creek banana clip (ruger 10/22) cleaned my ruger 10/22, started mounting a scope to said ruger, prepared a B.O.B. checklist, ordered 2 x 100rd boxes of CB longs, repaired my driveway, studied local maps of forested and uninhabited areas, shot my daily 5 shots with the sling shot, set aside 4 more gallons of water, searched for good deals on survival supplies online on the cheap (still looking for freebies & give-aways!),.... oh yea, and checked to see if my divorce was final (LOL). So far, I don't think it is!

I have done some training exercises with the Vancouver CERT, but I haven't done the whole course. I am usually gone while they are offerinig it. I have done a LOT of the FEMA training. National Preparedness Directorate National Training and Education Portal

I've also done some of the DHS terrorism training: TEEX Online / Cybersecurity Training
