Default Salmonberry Road 14 January 2012

Just a condition report for Salmonberry Road Quarry off Highway 26. Road condition going up to the larger quarry was in good shape, with vehicles putting down fresh rock on the road. It started to rain/sleet towards midday, so new snow might change accessibility for the rest of the weekend/week.

Shooting area was in good condition, except for the large amount of shells/brass/steel on the ground. Some leftover cans/containers as targets as well. We brought back more than we came with, but it wasn't enough. Perhaps a spring cleaning board project would be a worthy activity?

Thanks for the report and your effort to tidy up. If you plan another trip, PM me and if I'm free, I'd be glad to go and lend a hand cleaning up.
If common sense were common, then everyone would have it.
