Thread: Spokane BLM Lands

Im new to shooting, just got a rifle. and im looking for somewhere outdoors to shoot. and from what ive seen its either private lands or blm lands. Does anyone know of some near by blm lands.

also, is it legal to target shoot on forest service land?

Stay away from Fishtrap, it is closed to shooting. Crab Creek is mostly hunting and camping. Best bet it to go to the BLM office on Francher and buy the BLM map for Spokane. It has state land on it as well and is the best four dollars you will ever spend.

Worst case, drive out to the range near Mica and pay the old guy five dollars to shoot there. Don't go early, they open at 2pm on weekdays.

Its legal to safely shoot on federal land unless there are rules prohibiting it in an area. Check the rules set by the local FS or BLM office.
