Thread: Great Spot east of PDX

We were recently working on a construction job near Hood River and found a great spot.

East on I-84, take exit 44 (Cascade Locks), cross over to Washington via $.75 toll bridge, go east on WA hwy 14 for 1/4mile to ASH LAKE Rd on left, follow about 2 miles on good gravel road to the old county rock pit.

The locals have shooting tables set up for the long range (200yd) and on a seperate site, a pistol range with tables.

good place to shoot,mighty tight roads going in at the narrow parts. gets crowded on weekends,not sure what it's like during the week.
