Thread: Public shooting close to PDX? (and join us)

OK, finally had my sign-on issues resolved. And, of course, I'm about to deploy again. So, on short notice, closest places to shoot on public land from PDX?

I did multiple searches, most of them pulled up old results so not too confident about them.

Going out on Monday with friends I deployed with last year. More than happy to join others.

If Admins will give me permissions for it, I have a PDF map from BLM with (official) shooting areas, but not too close to PDX, ergo my question.

I'd love to have that map PDF.

If you can tell me how to compress it from 2+ down to 1 I'd be more than happy to post

You can't compress PDF files. They're usually pretty small to begin with. I know that I'd love to have an actual BLM map as well. Maybe a mod can post it up for you?

Several of us are interested (me too!). If it can't be posted here somewhere, maybe use a public place like Dropbox and then post a link here?

My suggestion would be to zip the big file up, and then upload it somewhere online like 4shared.com.

Has anyone heard anything more about this? Would love to get a copy.

Only two posts. Guys was about the deploy.

I doubt we're gonna get a copy of his BLM map...

Lame, had I stumbled across this sooner, I would've taken the guy out. :/ Let's hope he stays safe while on deployment.
