Thread: Looking for a shooting spot near Waldport, OR.

Doing a bachelor party in the area this summer and looking for a place we can shoot at. Heard rumors of one on/near Table Mountain, but not sure of the area, nor has my google skills helped much. We would MUCH prefer public land over any private ranges.

Drive south toward Yachats. At the Angell Job Corps, turn east onto Blodgett Rd. Drive just past AJC and follow the curve of the main road to the right. Stay on this road (passable in the summer by any passenger vehicle) for about 10 or 15 minutes until you see an old quarry on the left. 120+ yards and level; good enough for plinking and sighting in.

But is it NFA and Tannerite friendly?
