Thread: Areas around Bend, Oregon

I was looking for places to shoot around the Bend Oregon area.

I know of the COSSA range and the 2 cinder pits off china hat road.

Any and all help would be great...i follow strict gun safty and clean up after myself as well as others when needed.

Are you new to the area? If so you may not be aware of the gravel pit off the road to the Lava Cast Forest just East of Sunriver. I use that a lot since I am close to it. Nice and flat and you can get 200 + yards. Also there are many good places East off Vandervert Road and anywhere from there. Lots of places in this area with natural backstops and flat ground to set up benches & tables. Nice thing about shooting in CO - lots of uncrowded places to go.
