Thread: Memaloose open?

Has anyone been out to Memaloose in the last few days? My car can't handle snow so I was wondering if the road is clear enough for city rigs?

I was up at my secret spot today, near memaloose but not memaloose and 2 wheel drive would not have cut it. Once you started to get up in elevation the snow started getting a little heavy for a car to go thru. I did not go up Memaloose rd though so I'm not a 100% sure.

I was up at Memaloose today and you'll need 4wd or chains after about 5 miles up the road. It is starting to get high center and icy, so it's a good idea to avoid taking a car. It's not really to bad, but if you need to turn off to the side of the road to let oncoming traffic pass through, and you don't have 4wd it's likely you'll get stuck.
