    Default Welcome to OregonCHLTraining.com!

OregonCHLTraining.com is an online training facility for those wishing to obtain their required Oregon CHL training. We offer a basic Oregon CHL class that exceeds the minimum requirements of the State of Oregon. The class is best suited for those with previous firearm experience, or those who are planning to continue their firearm education with additional training. It's easy! Simply register at OregonCHLTraining.com and read the study materials provided. When you are ready, you can take the test.
Upon successful completion of the test, you will be presented with a certificate that you can print out and take to your local Sheriff.
We also provide links to every sheriff's office in Oregon so you can print your application as well. The best part? It's just $39.00!

Had a friend take this course and all went well. No problem at the Sheriff Office either!

    Thanks!

Thanks SteelyDan...glad to hear it. We worked really hard to make this class the best online class available. There are many sites out there now that have no safeguards and are basically "selling a certificate". While our class isn't at all difficult, students do have to study the material and pass a basic knowledge test.
We stress repeatedly throughout the class that additional training is imperative. In short, this is a really good class that makes getting your basic training and obtaining a CHL available to many who would not otherwise get it.
Thanks for the feedback. We love to hear it!

Took the class online, made my appointment at the sheriff's office for three weeks later, went in and got my card in under fifteen minutes, no hassle whatsoever. Since my handgun safety knowledge is already established, the test went fast. Perfect solution for someone who doesn't have time to go to another safety course.

Does this training qualify a Washingtonian for a non-resident permit?

The class does meet the requirements that are needed to apply for the Oregon license.
There are only a few counties that will issue non-resident permits, so I suggest that you
contact some of the border counties and ask them what they require prior to applying.
    Best of luck!
