I went in to buy a fishing license for a friend of mine. While my friend was filling out his paperwork I looked at the gun selection and prices. The selection was pretty good and the prices were mostly fair, considering the location.

I did see a large sign that said something along the lines of, "If you voted for Obama, don't even think of buying a firearm here."

This one-stop-shop guns and beer store and the owner Jimmy has to be the biggest joke. All the guns are over-priced by more than $100 easily. Some of the NIB guns have obviously had hundreds of rounds through them. Also, what's up with all of the political signs. I strongly believe that business' should keep their politics separate (unless of course our rights are being infringed and attacked.)

I have personally seen two brand new Taurus revolvers break within two weeks from this store. I know that Taurus sucks but still, two guns in two weeks NIB. After the owner went back to have them sent in for repairs Jimmy tried charging him for another background check! What a scam.

So if you are into buying over-priced garbage that will break in a few hundred rounds, this is the place to shop. If you want to laugh your *** off, add yourself to his mailing list.

This is Jim Fox. Friends call me "Jimmy", and from the sounds of this post, you are no friend of mine. I've owned this store for almost 24 years, 20 years as a firearms dealer. I have a stellar reputation for my honesty and my integrity. I've sold thousands of firearms. I am honest about their condition. I do not accept responsibility for new firearms that end up needing repair. I am always helpful when firearms need repair.

Yes, I have political signs in my store. I am an unapologetic Constitutonalist. I would agree that political signs would not be welcome in perhaps a grocery store, but my store is not just a grocery store. For 8ball29 to state that the right to bear arms is not under attack is but another example of his lies about me and my store and I take offense at it.

My reputation for saying it like it is is legendary. I am using my name here, as well as the town I live in. I am not trying to be evasive or anonymous. 8ball29 lives on the Oregon Coast.

8ball29 is a liar and coward. If he grows a pair, he should say this crap to my face. NorthwestFirearms is not responsible for what is written here but they are responsible for allowing it to stay.

You got style Jimmy, careful; there are folks on this site that left "bull goose looney" in the dust! I have my real name on here as well and actually got a phone call from a moron who I had poked fun at.

Mr. Fox, while I have never set foot in your store and won't pretend to be familiar, I appreciate your response and I WILL find my self in Cloverdale to at least view your goods. Our rights are constantly under attack and folks seem to forget that the very blatant attacks against our last President were never questioned. In my town, an anti-Bush sign was a way to draw customers in and they were commonplace in all sorts of businesses. It's entertaining when the shoe is on the other foot. I'd be willing to bet that after I visit your establishment, I will be calling you Jimmy. Take care, Kip.

Thank you. I'm pretty easy going. I'm old school. A mans word is his bond. I am no better than my business practices are. I was taught by my father that I bought this business from to be honest and pay your bills; be independent and don't worry about your reputation, but instead have good character and your reputation will follow. The problem with the internet is that under the guise of anonymity people can make accusations and state lies that unless they are found and set straight, can lay out there and poison a mans life work.

I have been vocal about infringements made on our freedoms and this has attracted responses from lib-tards who take offense. I could care less about their little feelers getting hurt.... but if they need to run their mouth I'd hope they'd be man enough to face me.
