Default Must read for all new firearms enthusiasts

I just got home from my basic firearms safety course at OFA, WOW! It was a tun of fun, if you have any questions about what your duties and responsibilities are as a gun owner you need to go to this class!!!!! All the guys that taught my class were knowledgeable, patient, and friendly as **** to me. I now have a much better understanding of when and how to use deadly force, not to mention my basic shooting fundamentals have improved 3 fold. I would highly recommend that everyone take a basic firearms safety course at OFA. I plan on going back to OFA this summer for a Defensive Handgun 1 course, cant wait.

    Thanx guys.

    Sincerely,
    Eagle_Adam

I was going to try to attend one of the next couple... but I neglected to register ASAP!.... Depending on how my summer plans work out, it'll either be then or later. Can't wait, though.

    Hey Eagle_Adam!

It was great to meet and work with you today! Yet another great day on the OFA Range! If you had a good time in today's BHS then I can pretty much guarantee an even better time at DH1! In DH1 we are on the Range all day running various drills that build upon the skills you learned today!

Thank You and see ya again soon!

    Later, Zippo Joe

Basic Handgun Safety is a great class, you made a good choice....I took it after already having my permit and still learned a lot.

I took DH1 several weeks ago, highly recommend it, looking forward to heading back down for additional classes.

Eagle, thanks for the words of encouragement! I'm excited to hear you found the course of value.

We're adding classes as fast as we can but our problem is the good Lord only made 52 weeks in one year. With students traveling as far away as Canada and the east coast to train with us it is becoming more difficult for us local folks to get in.

The secret at OFA is "who you know". If you get on Vivian's good side (our office manager) good tidings come your way. One student has sent her flowers - twice. He now cannot do anything wrong and gets into any class he wants!

    Default Thank you

i waited 2 and a half weeks to get my appointment date/time. When i left the sheriffs office in wa co this afternoon, the worst part had to be when they let me hold the card that they were going to send me in 30 days! So now the wait begins. Thanx again to everybody at OFA for the BHS course I have brought many things to light for several of my friends and family members, small mistakes from carrying fixed blade knives to misconceptions about carrying on school property's. I will be coming back for DH1 asap!
