Thread: Movie Red State

Anybody watched Red state? The movie is pretty bubblegumed up. Ending was pretty funny though. I'm gonna watch it again lol.

I am a huge silent bob fan and this movie was great all the way up to the shoot out. I liked the preacher mainly because he's committed to the role. everyone else seemed to be mailing it in.

I thought it was pretty good. Definitely a different kind of film for Kevin Smith.

What I don't understand is why this movie has low ratings?

The rating was low because it was a jarring movie that lacked an identity. Started out suspenseful then turned into a made for tv action flick that looked like it was made by film school students. It didn't feel like a Kevin smith movie. Great movie with a piss poor ending
