Thread: Book ' American Sniper'

Has anyone read the book by Chris Kyle? Is it a good read or...?

I heard about it on the o'Reilly factor. He recommends it.

I have it on the way from Amazon. Should be here next week. The guy has to be awesome. He punched Jesse Ventura in the face!!!

I've also heard he was almost a victim of a car jacking but turned the tables on the jackers and now they are looking on from the after life.

So what. He punched a 60 yo man. He could punch Mike Tyson in his face when he is 60 also.

be damned careful about punching 60 year old guys you just might bite off more than you can chew. as far as ventura is concerner he has always been a loud mouth SOB, clear back to portland wrestling in the 70s. ithought it was pretty cool when he was governor of minn . jesse sure had one coming this time.

i think ventura was probably runnin his mouth as usual. and dont get me wrong he had it coming but, sounds like he got sucker punched

Oh good grief. Still haven't watched the video have you??? LOL!!!! Ventura was at a bar where other SEALS were having a wake for one of their fallen brothers and he went on about being against the Iraq war. OK. Whatever dude but then he said that perhaps more dead SEALs were in order (I paraphrase). Yep. That bubblegum bag deserved an *** thumpin'. How bad is it when a former SEAL wishes other SEALs dead????

Neither.

If it really happened that way, Ventura should have had respect for the dead, the Seal and his friends. The Seal should have shown restraint. All that someone was doing was talking. The Seal could have complained to the bars owner. The bars owner could have asked Ventura to leave or shut up.

I watched the video. Twice.
