Shooting doesn't deter hungry In-N-Out customers
Yeah right, "so authorities could investigate". I think they just wanted the restaurant to themselves for a while. Mmmmmmm, Double-Doubles.December 14, 2011
A man in his 20s was shot and critically injured in the parking lot of a Northern California In-N-Out Burger restaurant this week.
The suspect fled and police cordoned off the area. But for two hours after the shooting, a steady stream of business continued uninterrupted as "a line of cars snaked around the crime scene toward the drive-through window," the Contra Costa Times reported.
The victim was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition. The suspect, also in his 20s, fled the Pinole fast food restaurant on foot.
Police told the newspaper they believe it was a targeted attack and that there was no threat to the public. The restaurant stayed open for two hours after the shooting, but eventually closed so authorities could investigate.![]()
