Thread: responding to a PM

It would always help to identify the gun or whatever one is responding about.

Sometimes responding with "no thanks or "it is sold" isn't enough info to know what you are talking about...

Not enough info? If you sent me a PM then you are getting all you need from me. If you put the item in the subject line, then it is still there "Re: XXXX Pistol".
If you cannot remember what you were after then you probably didn't want it much anyway.
