Thread: SOPA this is a big invasion of personal privacy and allow big business to sue you

Not sure how many people have been tracking this but its a big deal to your internet rights.

American Censorship Day - Call to Stop SOPA and PROTECT IP

Basically it will allow business to take anybody to court for any action they suspect as infringing on their copyrights.

For example "It becomes a felony with a potential 5 year sentence to stream a copyrighted work that would cost more than $2,500 to license, even if you are an ordinary noncommercial user. Singing a pop song on Facebook could be a felony."

I wonder what corporate lobbyist wrote that piece of legislation?
