    During my NCO school, we had teams for the sports we did and our team was team DILLIGAF.....instructors didn't catch on until the very end. Everyone got a good laugh out of it.

    My dad was on the Alden's (DD211) last cruise when they sailed her from Mayport Fl. to the Philly ship yard where she was decomissioned in June 45

    I don't know when he left her. I was on her from about '37 into the war. He was at the battle of the Java sea.
