    Default What do you drive?

I'm always curious to know what everyone drives.

I have a 2000 Toyota 4Runner Limited with an ARB Bull Bumper and a Warn M8000 winch. While I love owning it, I don't drive it enough, so it's up for sale.

Next is Jenny's car, a 2002 Hyundai Accent. One of the best decisions we've ever made was purchasing this car. Jenny has a 50 mile round trip commute and the 38MPG highway really takes some of the pain away from the pump. I know why these cars sell for $8k new, and it's not because they're bad cars. Working on them, you can see how they streamlined the assembly process to the point where everything fits together like lego's. Very smart, and good for me when I'm working on it.

(No photo, you guys know what these look like)

Third is my 1989 BMW 325i convertible. This is the fifth or sixth E30 BMW Jenny and I have owned, and they really are amazing little cars. I pulled the motor out of it to reseal all the gaskets last year and as of today, the engine is still apart. Hopefully it'll be done in time to enjoy the last bit of summer.

Fourth is this 1991 BMW 525i. I bought this from the second owner with 123,xxx miles on it. It sat for quite a while and no joke, must have had a 1/4 inch of leaves and dirt in every crevice possible. I was literally shocked once Jenny and I got it to the shop and cleaned it up, it's one of the cleanest and straightest E34's I've ever seen.

I drove a 89 Volvo stationwagon for a couple years, it gave it's life protecting me in a headon with an old lady that didn't know how to stay in her lane.

Then I drove an 84 Corolla for a while, it had almost 350k miles on it when my roommate rolled it. Again a car gave it's life protecting me.

That was my 1st 1911 on my hip, and it was worth more than the car.

    Now I drive a 95 Buick landyacht.

For everyone... Firearm friendly auto detailer, it's a hobby that I do on the side...
I hate using the term, "detailer," because there are way too many untrained migrant worker vandals that hack your paint to a swirled disaster.
    I prefer cosmetic reconditioning specialist.

    Some pics and such.

    JOEY,
    I'm jealous of your E34 - I love it.
Get some trim on that E30, it looks great otherwise.

95' Ford Escort (2dr hatchback). My daily driver.
07' Honda CRV. Wife's daily driver.

Had a 02' Chevy Cavalier that gave it's life TWICE to protect my wife and kid from 2 rear-ends. We had less than a year before it would have been paid for.
Didn't have one lick of trouble out of it, but the seats and driving position were uncomfortable. No big deal really. We were going to trade it in for a Honda anyway.

    I have a MINI, and a mini . . . van.
'02 Cooper S, and '00 Mazda MPV. In my dreams, I'm driving the Lotus Exige S240 that I "tried on" at a recent car show.

Modified how? (That's a 2.8? Did you put a newer M50 engine in there?)

    Default Drivin' toys

I have a 2000 F-150 4x4 Off Road. No reason to show you a picture...it's covered in mud.

My other toy is a 2004 Kawi Vulcan 2000 cruiser. Best V-twin I've owned, including my two Harley's. I don't have to rebuild this every winter!
