    That's interesting! A legendary (and legal!) womans' folk weapon of North Portland that I have seen used on the bus still has no name: Take an old pair of pantyhose and place one leg inside of the other; Fill the toe with about three dollars worth of loose pennies, then knot the top; Twirl about the head and crash it down on the opponent, and they are OUT.............................elsullo

    A lot of 1%s can't own guns,so they tie a lock onto a bandanna and keep it in their back pocket.
    I just don't like the idea of having a chocking device around my neck.

    There actually is a name for it. Technically, that would be a slung shot, and is illegal in many places.

    I thought 'battle scarf' was grabbing a quick MRE during a fire fight.

    It is true, the 'slung shot' is directly addressed in the ORS.
