Thread: Reaction side knife carry

Just curious to how many here who carry a concealed firearm carry an edge tool (weapon) for defensive use?

Personally speak, I carry both dominate and reactionary side where both are the same model.

When I worked security I carried a small Kabar TDI...but that was mainly because I had a firearm in the open. Concealed, I see a less of a need to carry it- if they know you are armed it's because you either displayed it or you bragged about it.

I still, however, carry a pocket knife with me.

as i don't have my CHL yet, i always have a folder on me. Even on duty, there's always a fixed blade on my reaction side in case of a misfire or attempt to grab my side arm.

I am like you. I conceal carry every day but I also carry a folding knife on both sides.

I don't carry a firearm, as they are not allowed on campus at PSU. I carry a folder in the right front pocket and a Hideaway knife in the left.

The Hideaway is an excellent defensive tool.
