Thread: Good beginners motorcycle Rebel, Savage, S40, Virago 535, 250 etc.

Looking for a bike for my short wife to learn to ride on. Tried an Interceptor 250 but that was too tall, never thought about a "lowering link" so a sport bike might not be TOTALLY out of the question, though most dual sports are OUT. Mostly we are looking at the above listed bikes or other LOW and LIGHT 250's through 600's. A trade for guns and ammo would be a big plus. Like to keep it under $2000, let me know what you got.

My wife learned on a Rebel 250, it was a great bike to learn on.

These were the precursor to the rebel.....1981 Honda Twinstar 200

I have an 86 Intruder that needs breaks battery and a tune up and the seat has a tear in it...$500.

Yeah, but funds are a little smaller now thanks to medical bills. I forgot this was on here.
