Thread: Outline for building a short barrel shotgun needed

Can any of you who know and especially who have gone through the process give me an outline of the process of building a legally registered short barrel shotgun in the State of Oregon?

I want to build a magazine length barrel Remington 1100 20ga with if possible the ability to use both a short pull stock (12-12.5") and a pistol type grip.

Any help appreciated.

Fill out form 1, send check, wait, when you receive the stamp you can do whatever you want to that 1100, stock and pistol grip. Just dont try to cut the barrel down before you have that stamp in hand

He didn't say he was registering it through the state of Oregon. He resides in Oregon.

I will be interested to hear how this turns out. I live in Silverton as well and plan on doing something similar in the near future.

I got an old Topper 88, would it be any good with a short barrel? of course I'll wait until I get my Class III/SOT before I think of such a thing.
