Thread: Transferring previous purchases into a trust

Do you have to pay the $200 tax again to transfer currently owned NFA items into a trust or just fill out the Form 4 with no additional tax.

Yes each transfer requires you to pay the tax. Only way not to pay is to die and leave it to your family.

Yep. Not possible without paying the tax. Only situation where you'd want to do it is on dissolution of a corporation. Otherwise there is no benefit to doing so.
