The end result is a shorter slightly fatter case at the shoulder. The 50 DTC and 50 BMG are incompatible with each other after the brass is properly formed.

It was suggested by some that the 50 DTC be instead called the 50 Girly-man to mock that b-itch Arnold for signing AB50 into law in CA. They stuck with 510 DTC and 50 DTC instead.
